Private
removals

Niesen’s comprehensive, hassle-free service covers every aspect of your move: packing and unpacking, professional and secure packing, IT, electrical and plumbing connections, furniture and kitchen assembly, as well as, on request, refurbishment and final cleaning of your old home. If you wish, we can even take care of digital room planning and organising the contents of your cupboards at your new home. This means you don’t have to worry about a thing and can move straight into your new home.

Niesen carries out private relocations throughout the Rhine-Ruhr region, with a focus on Cologne, Leverkusen and Düsseldorf. In addition, we organise removals throughout Germany and internationally to almost every country in the world – reliably, securely and with the expertise gained from over 130 years of company history as part of DMS, Germany’s largest removals company for residential and corporate moves.

Yes, at Niesen you have a flexible range of options: from a complete full-service move to a ‘pack-it-yourself’ move, where you pack your own boxes and we take care of nothing but the transport and assembly. This allows you to save money without having to forego professional logistics and insured transport. A combination – such as packing small items yourself and having fragile items professionally packed – is also possible.

Yes, our relocation service for senior citizens takes into account the specific needs of older people: empathetic advice, support with sorting and clearing out, and a fully organised move right through to your new home being fully furnished. On request, we can also take care of clearing out your old flat and furnishing your new home according to your wishes, so that the move is as stress-free as possible.

For international moves, Niesen takes care of the entire process: professional packing for sea or air freight, all customs and import formalities, as well as a relocation service that supports you with dealing with the authorities, finding accommodation and settling into your new home. This ensures your belongings arrive safely and on time at their destination, whether within Europe or on another continent.

You can arrange a free on-site visit, a video consultation or a digital survey via your smartphone. Alternatively, simply fill in our inventory list – based on this, we will promptly provide you with a no-obligation, personalised quote that is tailored precisely to the scope and specific details of your move.
