      How does Niesen’s wheel & tyre logistics work?

      We collect the wheel sets from your car dealership, enter them into a database, clean them and store them in the wheel storage facility. We will return them to you on the agreed date.

      How are wheel sets allocated?

      About labels and barcodes. This ensures that wheel sets can be reliably identified; tread depth and running-in damage can be tracked.

      How are the wheels stored?

      Stored upright and climate-controlled on large shelves with temperature control. Beforehand, they are cleaned in a wheel-washing system.

      Do you also offer a tyre-changing service?

      Yes – carried out professionally on the premises of your car dealership or in our workshops. Installation and tread depth measurement can be included on request.

      Are the wheels insured?

      Yes, at the dealer’s purchase price or replacement value.

      NIESEN schafft zusätzliche Lagerkapazität für insgesamt 130.000 Räder

      Rechtzeitig zum Start der Herbstsaison 2025 hat NIESEN sein Räderlager deutlich ausgebaut. Am Standort Leverkusen stehen neue Kapazitäten für 30.000 Radsätze zur Verfügung – genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt für den saisonalen Wechsel von Sommer- auf Winterreifen in Autohäusern und Werkstätten. Insgesamt können damit ab sofort rund 130.000 Räder eingelagert und professionell betreut werden.

      Seit vielen Jahren stellt NIESEN speziell klimatisierte Lagerflächen für die Bundeskunstsammlung bereit. 2021 wachsen die Flächen um 300 Quadratmeter auf insgesamt rund 1.000 Quadratmeter.

      Im November 2020 erweiterte NIESEN den Self Storage-Lagerpark in Leverkusen-Quettingen. Mittlerweile 61 Lagerboxen stehen dort zur Anmietung über flexible Laufzeiten bereit. Privatpersonen und Unternehmen finden sicheren Schutz für die Einlagerung von zum Beispiel Möbeln, Handelswaren oder auch kleineren Fahrzeugen.

      Möbel an Mitarbeiter gegen Spende – Johnson Controls nutzte NIESEN-Lager für Möbelausgabe

      Kommt gut an bei den Mitarbeitern von Johnson Controls: Der Konzern verschenkt gebrauchte Möbel an das Personal. Kommt ebenso gut an beim Kinderschutzbund Burscheid: die gesammelten, freiwilligen Spenden. Den Rahmen für die Aktion, von der jeder etwas hatte, bildeten die Lagerhallen von NIESEN in Leverkusen. Von Mitte Februar bis Mitte April 2015 fanden im Wochentakt insgesamt neun Ausgabe-Runden mit immer neuen Möbel statt. Bei Getränken konnten die Mitarbeiter von Johnson Controls sichten und stöbern. Und bei Gefallen die eigene Hauseinrichtung erweitern.
