      Yes. We collect artworks directly from the site and transport them in sealed containers. There is no need for multiple transhipments, which protects valuable goods.

      Can you also deliver and install the art?

      Yes. We deliver on time for the exhibition and, if required, take care of assembly, hanging and installation – including the use of a crane.

      How long can I store works?

      Wenn tonnenschwere Kunstwerke bewegt werden müssen, kommt es auf Erfahrung, Präzision und das richtige Equipment an. Genau das war am 10. Juni 2026 auf dem Bonner Venusberg gefragt. NIESEN transportierte die monumentale Bronzeplastik »Mean Average« des international renommierten Bildhauers Tony Cragg und übernahm anschließend auch die Montage. Ein Kamerateam der WDR Lokalzeit begleitete das komplette Projekt und berichtete auch von der Enthüllung.

      Ein LKW in luftiger Höhe: NIESEN montiert Buggenhout-Skulptur im Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden

      Es war ein Anblick, der selbst Kunstkenner staunen ließ: Zwei große gelbe Kranwagen auf einer Waldlichtung, an deren Haken ein alter LKW-Trailer kopfüber in der Luft hing. Dieses gewaltige Kunstwerk, geschaffen vom belgischen Bildhauer Peter Buggenhout, ist Teil der Ausstellung »Umleitung«, die vom 8. März bis zum 10. August 2025 im Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden in Wuppertal zu sehen ist. Der auf Kunsttransporte spezialisierte Logistiker NIESEN übernahm die anspruchsvolle Aufgabe, die monumentale Skulptur sicher an ihren Bestimmungsort zu bringen.

      Tony Craggs »Points of View« finden ihren endgültigen Platz in Monheim Mitte

      Am 15. Januar 2025 war es soweit: Die beeindruckenden Skulpturen »Points of View« des international renommierten Bildhauers Tony Cragg wurden von NIESEN an ihren endgültigen Standort in Monheim Mitte bewegt. Die drei monumentalen, rund fünfeinhalb Meter hohen und je etwa 3,5 Tonnen schweren Bronze-Säulen prägen das Stadtbild vor dem »Monheimer Tor« und ergänzen die Kunstachse im Herzen Monheims.

      In einem präzisen Kunsttransport brachte NIESEN die beeindruckende Skulptur IMMATERIELLES des renommierten Künstlers Andreas Schmitten sicher von der Produktionsstätte in den Fernbahnhof Frankfurt am Main. Die über fünf Meter hohe Skulptur wurde auf einem Sattelschlepper befördert und nachts in den meistfrequentierten deutschen Flughafenbahnhof gebracht.

      NIESEN veröffentlicht Buch über Kunsttransporte

      NIESEN veröffentlichte einen umfangreichen Bildband über die eigens durchgeführten Kunsttransporte. Das 128-seitige Buch dokumentiert logistische Arbeiten für weltbekannte Künstler wie Markus Lüpertz, Tony Cragg oder Katharina Grosse. Anlass für die Publikation sind zwei Jubiläen. 2022 feiert NIESEN das 130-jährige Bestehen des Unternehmens. Außerdem existiert die Abteilung für Kunsttransporte seit 30 Jahren.
