    Mobile storage systems

    Standardised containers form part of global transport systems. We move them around the warehouse using cranes and, when relocating, even load them directly from the lorry.

    Alarm-protected hall

    The locked containers are stored in our alarm-secured warehouse in Leverkusen – protected from the weather, fire and unauthorised access.

    Segmentation by customer

    Each customer’s items are stored in their own container. This ensures confidentiality – which is particularly important for files and archives.

    Exhibition & retail goods

    We store merchandise and trade fair materials, and pick and pack trade fair equipment for the next event.

    Valuables in the container

    We collect art and antiques directly from the premises, transport them in sealed containers and store them without transhipment – this protects valuable goods.

      What can I store in containers?

      Furniture and dismantled furniture, merchandise, exhibition materials, technical items, classic cars, art and antiques, as well as files – kept dry, protected and secured by an alarm system.

      How secure is the storage facility?

      The locked containers are stored in an alarm-protected warehouse on secure premises. Fire protection and weather protection are, of course, provided.

      Will my stored goods be mixed with others?

      No. Each customer is allocated their own container. Keeping customers separate ensures confidentiality and security.

      Can I put my belongings into storage straight away when I move house?

      Yes. When moving house, we can load items directly into containers and store them in the warehouse – without the need for any additional transhipment.

      Do you also offer document storage?

      Yes. For files and archives, we offer a document storage facility using a container system with a digital ordering portal. Find out more on our Document Storage page.

      Where is the warehouse located?

      In Leverkusen, right next to Cologne and Düsseldorf. On request, we can collect your goods from storage and deliver them back to you on the date of your choice.

      Rechtzeitig zum Start der Herbstsaison 2025 hat NIESEN sein Räderlager deutlich ausgebaut. Am Standort Leverkusen stehen neue Kapazitäten für 30.000 Radsätze zur Verfügung – genau zum richtigen Zeitpunkt für den saisonalen Wechsel von Sommer- auf Winterreifen in Autohäusern und Werkstätten. Insgesamt können damit ab sofort rund 130.000 Räder eingelagert und professionell betreut werden.

      Seit vielen Jahren stellt NIESEN speziell klimatisierte Lagerflächen für die Bundeskunstsammlung bereit. 2021 wachsen die Flächen um 300 Quadratmeter auf insgesamt rund 1.000 Quadratmeter.

      Im November 2020 erweiterte NIESEN den Self Storage-Lagerpark in Leverkusen-Quettingen. Mittlerweile 61 Lagerboxen stehen dort zur Anmietung über flexible Laufzeiten bereit. Privatpersonen und Unternehmen finden sicheren Schutz für die Einlagerung von zum Beispiel Möbeln, Handelswaren oder auch kleineren Fahrzeugen.

      Möbel an Mitarbeiter gegen Spende – Johnson Controls nutzte NIESEN-Lager für Möbelausgabe

      Kommt gut an bei den Mitarbeitern von Johnson Controls: Der Konzern verschenkt gebrauchte Möbel an das Personal. Kommt ebenso gut an beim Kinderschutzbund Burscheid: die gesammelten, freiwilligen Spenden. Den Rahmen für die Aktion, von der jeder etwas hatte, bildeten die Lagerhallen von NIESEN in Leverkusen. Von Mitte Februar bis Mitte April 2015 fanden im Wochentakt insgesamt neun Ausgabe-Runden mit immer neuen Möbel statt. Bei Getränken konnten die Mitarbeiter von Johnson Controls sichten und stöbern. Und bei Gefallen die eigene Hauseinrichtung erweitern.
