      What does Niesen’s relocation consultancy service involve?

      We analyse your requirements and use them to draw up a relocation manual setting out the planning, timetables, responsibilities and risk assessment – to ensure operational capability, safety, environmental sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

      How can my business keep running despite the move?

      Through phased planning: critical areas are relocated last or with only brief interruptions, whilst other areas continue to operate at the old site. This makes it possible, for example, to significantly reduce production downtime.

      How do you ensure security and confidentiality?

      We protect sensitive data and goods, comply with all legal requirements and operate in strict confidence. Important documents and data storage media are transported under secure conditions and with proper documentation.

      Is the environment also taken into account?

      Yes. We focus on sustainable packaging, modern vehicles (Euro 5/6), waste prevention and energy efficiency, and we also offer advice on furniture contracts to help prevent waste during refurbishments.

      What is a Plan B in a relocation project?

      An alternative plan for unforeseen circumstances such as machine breakdowns, flooding or delays in obtaining permits. This allows relocation phases to be rescheduled flexibly without jeopardising the overall project.

      Im Juni und Juli 2026 führte NIESEN den Umzug eines ADAC-Standorts von Hürth nach Wesseling durch. Rund 1.000 Kubikmeter Umzugsgut gelangten an den neuen Standort. Neben einem kleineren Büroumzug mit 15 Arbeitsplätzen lag der Schwerpunkt vor allem auf der Verlagerung umfangreicher Lagerbestände.

      Zwischen Oktober 2025 und Februar 2026 begleitete das NIESEN den vollständigen Standortwechsel von GEA Lyophil nach Elsdorf. Der Industrieumzug in das neue Pharma-Technologiezentrum an der Siemensstraße umfasste sämtliche Leistungen aus einer Hand, darunter zahlreiche Maschinen-, Labor- und Schwertransporte.

      Überzeugter Wiederholungstäter: Hut-Spezialist FWS zieht erneut mit NIESEN um

      Bereits im Jahr 2011 begleitete NIESEN den Umzug des Spezialisten für Kopfbedeckungen in größere Räumlichkeiten in der Oskar-Schindler-Straße in Köln. Ende 2025 entschied sich die Friedrich W. Schneider GmbH & Co. KG (FWS) erneut für einen Firmenumzug mit NIESEN. Der Grund dafür ist ebenso einfach wie aussagekräftig: Die Zusammenarbeit hatte sich bereits beim ersten Projekt bewährt.

      Großumzug für Mercedes-Benz: Komplettpaket inklusive Stern-Demontage mit NIESEN

      Im November 2025 verlagerte Mercedes-Benz den Pkw-Verkauf nach Frechen und den Servicebereich aus der Mercedes-Benz-Allee nach Pulheim. Hintergrund war die Neueröffnung des modernen, umweltneutralen Pkw-Centers in Frechen. NIESEN begleitete den Umzug des Servicebereichs mit Werkstatt und Teilelager von der frühen Planungsphase im Sommer bis zur finalen Übergabe. Ein eindrucksvoller Moment war die fachgerechte Entfernung des weithin sichtbaren Mercedes-Sterns per Kran vom Kölner Dach.

      Großumzug von E.ON: DMS-Arbeitsgemeinschaft sorgt für reibungslosen Transport von 2.100 Arbeitsplätzen

      Der Energiekonzern E.ON realisierte im Oktober und November 2024 einen groß angelegten Umzug seiner Zentrale auf den Essener Thyssenkrupp-Campus. Am umfangreichen Projekt, bei dem mehr als 2.100 Arbeitsplätze verlagert wurden, war eine DMS-Arbeitsgemeinschaft maßgeblich beteiligt. Unter der Leitung von DMS Kühne brachten auch DMS Niesen und DMS Westhoff ihre gebündelte Expertise ein.
